Magic Rules

In the world of Fairy Tail there are mages, those who can use spells. When you registered your character you sign up for a specific type of magic that you can use. That will be your magic. You can learn spells for that type of magic.

There are two types of magic:

Caster Magic:
(キャスターマジック Kyasutā Majikku) It is Magic that is expelled from the body
as opposed to Magic done through the use of a weapon or outside source.
Holder Magic:
(ホルダーのマジック Horudā Majikku) is Magic that requires a Mage to use an
external source to produce the Magic. It usually requires the use of
Magic Power, though there are some exceptions such as Edolas Items that
are powered by Lacrima.

The basic amount of magic per rank is:

Basic - D: 100 Magic
Novice - C: 140 Magic
Intermediate - B: 180 Magic
Experienced - A: 220 Magic
Expert - S: 260 Magic
Hero - X: 300 Magic
Guild Master: 500 Magic

Magic Pool: This is for casting spells. For each rank, spells cost a set amount magic.

D: 10 Magic
C: 20 Magic
B: 30 Magic
A: 40 Magic
S: 50 Magic
X: 70 Magic
GM: 80 Magic

Here is some extra information about magic:

Celestial Spirit Mages (Limit: 12 People Max): You are only allowed to have 1 gold Zodiac key and 1 silver key at the starting of your journey as a Mage here.

Dragon Slayers (Limit 10 people): If you want to get this kind of magic you must show a good application. If you do not, the Mods/Admins will ask you to fix your app or improve it. Dragon Slayers are impervious to their own natural element as in the anime/manga, however eating ones own natural element will not restore ones magic. Eating ones own element will grant the Dragon Slayer greater vitality and nothing more. I'd also like to mention that Dragon Slayers do not have complete manipulation over their own element, they transform their body in to their own element granting them various techniques which may seem like full manipulation, however it is far from it.

Lacrima Dragon Slayers(Limit 10 people):
If you want to get this kind of magic you must register your character as a lacrima Dragon Slayer. Once again you
must show a good application or else the Mods/Admins will ask you to fix or improve it. Note that it will be harder to
get lacrima dragon slayer magic because you will need to purchase the proper dragon slayer lacrima from the Magic Shop. Also same properties as regular dragon slayers apply. Meaning, Dragon Slayers are impervious to their own natural element as in the anime/manga, however eating ones own natural element will not restore ones magic. Eating ones own element will grant the Dragon Slayer greater vitality and nothing more.

Basic - D: 3
Novice - C: 4
Intermediate - B: 5
Experienced - A: 6
Expert - S: 7
Hero - X: 9
Guild Master- Backward S: Undecided.
